Police and Firefighter Prayer Ministry

Our mission to grow disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Peoria and the world will only be realized by equipping you to discover, share, and deepen your walk with Christ.

Our Peoria Firefighters in a given year respond to nearly 7,000 emergency medical service calls, over 3,000 fire calls and over 1,500 rescue calls. Our Peoria Police officers provide the city with safety by apprehending criminal offenders, maintaining order, responding to calls for service and protecting life and property. This is accomplished through over 200 men and women on our police force that offer their service to our community.

The police and firefighters prayer ministries cover these men and women daily with prayers, cards and letters. It is an opportunity to express support for public service officials and their families, while building Christ-centered relationships with these servants of our community.

One hundred and twenty-seven members of our Peoria Police Prayer Ministry are praying for 240 police officers. Twenty-four members of our congregation are praying as a part of our Peoria Firefighter Prayer Ministry. We can always use more prayer warriors to cover our public servants in prayer!
