Bus Trips for 2008
First United Methodist Church sponsors several bus trips each year primarily for those 50 years and older although persons of any age are welcome. You do not have to attend FUMC to participate. Plans have been made for the following three trips in 2008. Please put these dates on your calendar and invite friends to join us.
Bissell Mansion Mystery Theatre

The Bissell Mansion hosts St Louis' original participatory comedy/mystery dinner theatre. We will be served a three-course Luncheon between acts of the Show. Since the audience participates in the show, everyone receives an identity when they arrive, you could be a murderer, a victim, a suspect, fulfill another role or just sit back and enjoy the show.

Celebration Belle Lunch Cruise

The next bus trip is Classic Oldies Celebration Belle Lunch Cruise on Thursday, June 5. The Celebration Belle’s band will play classic hits from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. We’ll start the day off with sticky rolls and fresh fruit, then a full lunch buffet, and an afternoon snack before docking. Departure by motorcoach to Moline will be at 9:00 a.m. from Evergreen Square parking lot at the Park n’ Ride sign by Lens Crafters. Approximate arrival home is 5:00 p.m. The cost is $79 per person, payable by May 14 to Peoria Charter Coach. That includes transportation, lunch and cruise.

Wisconsin Get-A-Way
Monday through Thursday, October 14-17, 2008
Not all plans are formulated, but will include a tour of an Angels Museum in Beloit and a General Motors tour in Janesville.
