Caring Hearts Ministry

Caring Hearts Ministers are trained lay men and women who have responded to the call to serve by regularly visiting our sisters and brothers in Christ who are homebound, hospitalized or living in nursing homes. Currently, 36 Caring Hearts Ministers provide a Christ connection through prayer, active listening, Scripture reading and heartfelt hugs to 63 of our older members.

Through "learning of Christ, taking Christ in, passing Christ on" we grow disciples of Jesus Christ through this ministry of care and compassion. Training is offered several times each year to equip servants to bless older persons through Caring Hearts.
