At First United Methodist Church we believe that there is true joy and growth in connecting with each other. We have many groups that meet on a regular basis for Christian fellowship. They will all welcome you to come and share in the hospitality of God's grace with them. Some meet weekly, others meet once a month, so make it a point to come and get to know some new friends. Mommy Moments
Mommy Moments is a ministry of Peoria First United Methodist Church for mothers of children age newborn thru Pre-School. It is a weekly gathering that encourages women in their parenting, their marriages, their homemaking skills and most of all their career choice for this season of life - mothering. We meet on Monday mornings, September through May, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the church. While our moms are becoming refreshed, renewed and refocused, our children participate in a program called Tot Time. Infants up to 2 years are cared for by loving volunteers. While the 2 to 5 year olds engage in pre-school activities that teach about Christ's love for them. Our bi-monthly newsletter is available here. Men's Gathering
A fellowship group composed of men of all ages and interests. Meets regularly on a Monday evening with speakers and for fellowship. Additional information and the 2008 schedule is available here.

United Methodist Women
Our purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. We meet five times per year for a variety of programs, meals, and activities. Smaller groups, called UMW Circles, meet nine times per year, September through May, at various times and locations.
