Insight Groups - Winter 2008

Ten Great Dates
Married couples will rediscover the joys of dating and learn ways to revitalize their marriage while having fun! Through a short video segment each time and ten weekly dates and discussions, couples will learn how to develop a marriage coping system, help encourage each other, develop a solid partnership based on individual strengths, building a creative love life.

Come, join us and enjoy "dating" your spouse and experience an alive and growing God-filled marriage.

Date: Wed evenings, Jan 30 thru April 2 (10 sessions)
Location: Room B-8 (Perry Bldg) from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Fee: $15 per couple (workbook included)

Grief Share - Your Journey from Mourning to Joy
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Do you feel the need for support in a Christ centered, safe environment? Please join us for 13 weekly sessions as we learn valuable information about loss and grief, share with others who understand the pain, and begin to recover from grief with a renewed hope for the future. Each session will include a DVD presentation of personal stories, and information from Christian professionals who specialize in grief recovery.

Dates: Wednesday evenings, Feb 20 through Apr 23 (13 sessions)
Time & Location: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Parlor at Perry Bldg
Cost: $15. (includes workbook)

In Our Own Voice
Do you know anyone living with mental illness? Are you living with mental illness? "In Your Own Voice" video presentation will help you understand what it is like to live with mental illness and the hope that is available through recovery resources.

Dates: Sunday mornings, Jan 20 and Jan 27 (2 sessions)
Time & Location: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Room B7 at 116 Perry Bldg.
Cost: No fee
Facilitators: Ruth Mayfield and guest speakers from National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI)
