Men's Ministry

The vision of the FUMC Men’s Ministry is for men to be followers of Jesus Christ who are:

• connected to one another through godly relationships. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
• godly leaders in their homes, work, and community
• leading others to Jesus Christ       
• using their gifts to serve Him

In addition to regular gatherings, we also have discipleship programs, outreach projects, special events, and recreational opportunities. Discipleship includes small men’s groups, short-term program studies, and Basic Training--a nine-month intensive small group experience.

Our goal is to see men accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and then help them to grow as passionate disciples. The Men’s Ministry seeks to help men make this connection with their Savior and each other. A “Gathering” of over 60 men of all ages is held about every six weeks on a Monday evening to provide an atmosphere of growth, encouragement, and fellowship. Great food is a bonus.
