Neutral Ground

". . . whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me."  Matthew 25:40.

Neutral Ground, working in conjunction with Heart of Illinois HIV/AIDS Center (HIHAC),  is open each Tuesday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm to provide fellowship for those persons with HIV/AIDS.  During this time we also distribute cleaning supplies, disinfectants, soap, and personal hygiene items to help persons with HIV/AIDS in their constant struggle against further life-threatening infections and diseases.  We at First Church want to do our part to care for and support those who are affected by HIV/AIDS while building Christ-centered relationships in an environment that offers safe sanctuary to our guests. Items such as liquid cleaning fluids, disinfectants, soap, personal hygiene and sanitary items to help persons with HIV/AIDS in their never ending struggle against further life-threatening infections and diseases are also distributed.

The Neutral Ground pantry needs the donations of church and community members to continue the vital work that it performs.
